Indian Valuers Congress
For the last 55 years in succession, Institution of Valuers (IOV) has been organising Indian Valuers Congress (IVC), its annual event, at different places in India and these have been inaugurated by dignitaries like State Governors, Cabinet Ministers, Chief Ministers, etc. This congress provide a common platform for the Valuers Community, Financial Institutions and Government Authorities to interact and exchange concepts and ideas and help those participating in it to upgrade their knowledge in the field of Valuation.
Last year, “Global Valuation Summit 2023 (54th IVC) was conducted in association with IOV Registered Valuers Foundation (IOVRVF) at Mumbai on 24th & 25th November, 2023. That IVC was celebrated with the theme “Mapping the Momentum and Global Outreach of Valuation Profession”. Mr. R. Arunachalam, President, Institute of Actuaries of India, and Mr. Neelkanth Mishra, Chairman, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) obliged the IOV by becoming the Guests of Honour of the GVS 2023.
This year The Institution of Valuers (IOV) in association Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), IOV Registered Valuers Foundation (IOVRVF) and Valuation Standards Advisory Board (VSAB) is celebrating its 55th Indian Valuers Congress on 5th, 6th & 7th December 2024 at Kochi (Kerala). The theme of the event is “Empowering Valuers: Upholding Integrity”.

Hon'ble Justice Devan Ramachandran
Judge, Kerala High Court
Justice Devan Ramachandran is a distinguished judge currently serving at the Kerala High Court, the highest court for the State of Kerala and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. He gained early prominence by becoming the youngest advocate appointed as counsel for the Kerala High Court at the age of 34. His landmark rulings have driven significant legal reforms in Kerala, such as ban on single-use plastics and the use of abusive language by police, as well as providing enhanced protection for women and medical professionals. His jurisprudence reflects a deep commitment to constitutional empathy, judicial innovation, and social justice.
Shri. Manoj K. Arora
Chief Commissioner, CGST & Customs, Thiruvananthapuram Zone
Shri Manoj Kumar Arora is a 1990 batch IRS officer who took charge as Chief Commissioner of CGST & Customs, Thiruvananthapuram Zone in July 2023. His jurisdiction covers Kerala and the UT of Lakshadweep. His experience includes diverse roles in Central Excise, Customs (Preventive), Airport, and NACIN. He also served on deputation in the Ministry of Company Affairs as Director. He has also worked in the Directorate General of Performance Management (DGPM), where he introduced performance management systems like Saadhit, Aakalan, and OSPR.
Dr. Goutam Sengupta
Rector, Techno India University Chairperson, IOVRVF
Dr. Goutam Sengupta is the Vice chancellor of Techno lndia University, West Bengal. He is also adjunct faculty in IIT Kharagpur. Dr Sengupta has an illustrious career in industries and academics. His experience in reputed industries, national and global, spans over 38 years, supplemented with teaching experience of more than 15 years.
Vr. P.K. Thiagarajan
President, IOV
Mr. P.K. Thiagarajan has around 30 years’ experience of Sugar Industry in India & African countries along with Special Electrode Manufacturing. He has been awarded with Lifetime Achievement Award 2013 by Rotary Club. He has presented technical papers on Valuation of Sugar Industries 2009; Valuation - Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing & India; etc. He is also a member delegate for technical discussions at Germany & Israel.
Mr. Vinay K. Goel
Hony Gen Secy, IOV and MD & CEO, IOV RVF
Mr. Vinay Goel is a competent professional with more than 40 years of rich and extensive experience of working in architectural projects along with contributing in the development of valuation profession. He took over the reins of the most prestigious Institution of Valuers from his Father Shri P. C. Goel (founder of IOV) as the Hon. Gon. Secretary in the last decade. In an attempt to bring the valuation field under regulatory framework, he also formed a Registered Valuers Organisation under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) named IOV Registered Valuers Foundation (IOV-RVF).
